We do not require visitors of this site to provide any personally identifiable information if they do not want to.  However, visitors of this site can voluntarily, when registering for the site, using our contact form, leaving us a comment, or booking an appointment include your name, email address, phone number and birthday.  These are used to help us better serve you and contact you with your permission.

Additionally there are types of non-personal information like IP addresses and cookies (further explained below) that are collected in your visit.  You can visit our site anonymously if you choose as well.

How do we use your Personal Identification Information:

We will from time to time, send a newsletter to our subscribers regarding updates to our practice and any new information.   You can opt out of these emails or contacts at any time by emailing us at admin@sgretina.com. Our emails to you will never ask for any personal information, will try to always use clear subject lines, will include out physical address, and state the purpose of the email.  We also use your information to contact you to confirm your appointments that you book. Additionally, we may use the information we collect to conduct analysis, marketing, and evaluation related to improving our business.

How do we protect your information:

We do not share, sell, trade or re-use your information to third party vendors or outside parties.  We may release your information in instances where it is legally necessary such as times required by law enforcement or other lawfully permissible circumstances.  We do not store any of your information online and our site is monitored regularly for security issues.

Third party links are occasionally used on our site to access their services and products.  The terms of use and privacy policies of these sites are separate from those of San Gabriel Retina’s and we are not responsible or liable for their content, processes, or use.

In accordance with the COPPA, we have posted our privacy policy on the home page of our website where we detail out the policies of this website.  We will continue to update and notify users of any changes to this policy on this privacy policy page.

Children’s Privacy:

This site is not intended for the use by anyone less young than 13 years old and we not collect information from anyone under this age.  If PII from any person under the age of 13 is found to have been submitted, it will be deleted immediately, in compliance of Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.  In fact, all of our products, services, communications are directed towards those that are at least 18 years or old. If you are a parent and believe that your child has submitted personally identifiable information to us, please let us know and we will address the issue.
